Steve Evans
Founder and Director


Steve is joint Director of OBS, which he co-founded to offer Australian companies a different perspective when navigating the delivery of outsource services.

Steve is passionate about helping organisations unlock greater productivity and optimise their operations with smart, customised outsourcing solutions.  He established OBS to meet the challenge many growing companies face: how to scale resource capability at speed and achieve performance expectations, without diverting focus from their core business.

Partnering closely with all OBS clients, Steve develops sustainable outsourcing strategies that work – for management teams and for operational teams. He brings extensive experience in Australian privacy and security standards, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance within APRA guidelines.

Steve has over 25 years’ experience in managed technology, resourcing and business outsourcing services.  He has established numerous outsource teams and led successful business process outsourcing strategies for some of Australia’s leading brands.

Steve is based at the OBS Melbourne office.

Brett McMurrick
Founder and Director

Brett co-founded OBS bringing a diverse background of business management coupled with a depth of experience and success in the finance and banking sector, having held consultant and managerial roles with major organizations including Aussie Home Loans.

Brett’s former position at Salesforce Australia was responsible for the set up an operation of their business division in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Brett founded MMF finance & Consulting In 1999, noticing a gap & opportunity within the deregulation of the Banking sector with a lens on the residential & commercial mortgage space. Intermediaries and brokers were leading and originating lending on behalf of clients however the difference was his philosophy of the “client-centric business offering ” being the fiduciary duty of care for the clients best interests.

Brett is also a Full Voting Member with the MFAA and has been so for nearly 20 years.

Monique Aisa
General Manager – Philippines

Monique leads OBS’ Philippine operations. She is responsible for embedding our customer-first culture and inclusive values, ensuring all team members are well supported and set up to thrive in their roles.

Monique’s experience in managing outsource teams across a diverse range of industries underpins her proven ability to achieve outstanding performance outcomes for our clients.  She oversees all HR and Payroll requirements, in addition to managing the security and safety of Connect OS workplaces.

Monique is regarded for her ability to build connected, engaged teams and our clients love working with Manila-based employees who enjoy what they do and are empowered to be their best.

In recent years, Monique has specialised in managing outsource IT service desk and customer service teams for Australian companies.  She is experienced in all facets of outsource service operations.

Monique is based at the OBS Manila office.

Leah Marie Canlas

Leah leads OB-Support’s customer support services.She is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of OB-Support business solutions, partnering closely with clients from strategy through to recruitment, onboarding and team establishment.

Leah’s expertise is in creating an exceptional service experience for every OB-Support client.She’s passionate in her pursuit of understanding and delivering what our clients require to meet their objectives, streamlining the key decisions and smallest details.

Leah brings considerable experience in leading diverse teams and managing projects across multiple time zones.Her background includes successful management of marquee events and consumer activations for major European and US-based retail brands.

Leah is based at OB-Support’s Manila office.
